HEALTH & HAPPINESS LIES WITHIN.

A HEALTH NUT.

I love to feel my best, and I’ll try ANYTHING to optimize my body and mind. As a yoga & meditation instructor, and long time practitioner, I take an integrated approach to my health. I prioritize my physical, mental, and emotional health, understanding the important role these play for my productivity, longevity, focus, and overall well being.

PHYSICAL HEALTH.

It's all fun and games. Literally. Running, hiking, weight lifting, tennis, golf, yoga, cycling, boxing. You name it, I've tried it. As a lifelong athlete, maintaining my physical strength and endurance is top priority (plus a little friendly competition never hurt anyone). The food I put in my body is equally important to feel my best from the inside out.

MENTAL HEALTH.

On average, humans have 50,000-70,000 thoughts per day, 90% are repetitive, 80% are negative. I don’t like those stats. Through continuous learning, my meditation practice, and healthy routines to stimulate brain activity, I’m actively changing the neural pathways of my brain to increase positive thinking and original ideas.

EMOTIONAL HEALTH.

For a long time, I believed a display of emotions was a sign of weakness. And eventually this suppression festered as anxiety. I’ve come to realize that expressing emotion is part of the growth process. Vulnerability can create enriching relationships and open up a safe space for others to share. And who doesn’t love human connection?

CREATIVITY IS KEY.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Shift your perspective on what workouts mean to you. Replace the treadmill with a fresh air run, let out some aggression on a boxing bag, or find your strength the cave(wo)man way, with a rock. Here are some impromptu workouts to inspire your inner kid.
